What is a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score?
Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) developed a merit-based point system in order to rank the candidates interested to apply under the Express Entry pool. This point system of selecting applicants for permanent residence is known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The score assigned to each of the applicants is known as their CRS score.
The Canadian government holds an Express Entry draw approx every 2 weeks, and candidates with the highest score are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITAs) to ultimately apply for PR under Express Entry.
What is the cut-off for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)?
Although the CRS cut-off is ever-changing and the score generally cannot be predicted ahead of time, the latest CRS cut-off score is 511.
